BRASSICA OLERACEA VAR. VIRIDIS - 20mg

The Brassica family are some of the most potent antioxidant-containing foods on the planet. They are rich in many of nature's most beneficial plant phytochemicals, including polyphenols, anthocyanins, flavonoids, terpenes, glucosinolates and sulphur-containing compounds. Brassica plays a role in neuroprotection by supporting healthy DNA and modulating neuroinflammation through the influence of antioxidants glutathione and superoxide dismutase (SOD). Brassica also supports phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification pathways helping to support the elimination of toxins from the body.

SELENIUM (AS SELENOMETHIONINE) - 90mcg

Selenium is a critical trace mineral in over 25 selenoproteins, including the essential antioxidant glutathione peroxidase. It helps recycle other antioxidant nutrients such as vitamins C and E, further extending their free radical protection. Selenium is a vital co-factor in producing thyroid hormones, essential to energy production and clear thinking. Adequate levels of selenium are also necessary to support optimal immune system function. Within neurons, selenium helps control the inflammatory amplifier NFkB. It may also protect the nervous system from damage associated with heavy metal exposure due to its heavy metal-binding capabilities.

Other Ingredients: Plant-derived vege-capsule (hypromellose and purified water), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (plant-based), colloidal silica, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate.
